Project overview:

Indonesian’s with low socio-economic status living in rural areas lack access to basic healthcare. The pandemic has further caused a disruption in health services and a suspension of antenatal care services. DoctorSHARE supports governments in island-provinces to provide quality healthcare through the long term deployment of a floating hospital barge. It also improves local facilities’ capacity to provide high quality maternal and child health through training midwives and health cadres on high risk pregnancies, ultrasonography and other relevant interventions.

Contributions to this program are Zakat eligible and will be matched by 20% from the UBS Optimus Foundation. The match is currently capped at USD 200'000, donations over this threshold will be matched at 10%.
