Millions of people in the U.S. struggle to access care through the private health care system. Americares is one of the
only national organizations that is focused on supporting the free and charitable clinics that step into provide care for people affected by poverty, discrimination and marginalization.

The partner
Americares is the leading nonprofit provider of medical aid to the U.S. healthcare safety net. Americares partner network of safety net health centers, including 558 free and charitable clinics, serves more than seven million women, children and families. Americares also supports clinic and health center partners with programs that improve and expand the services they can offer patients. In partnership with safety net clinics across the country, Americares is increasing capacity, lowering costs, and improving health.
